Engage and connect with local history
HIGHLIGHT
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate at our events on Oct. 4 & 5!!
Thank you to our sponsors and partners: The law firms of Gill, Sipple, Gallagher and Bernstein (aka Rockrail Partnership) and architect Paul Gaiser, architect, who hosted our Friday night Happy Hour as well as opening the station for visitors on Saturday. The Rockville Public Library who helped us with opening Vinson’s Soda Fountain to the public, Maryland TTrak, and the National Capital Trolley Museum for a model railroad and for greeting visitors at the B&O station Saturday.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped to plan our events and who gave their time to set up, greeting visitors, clean up and all the many other tasks involved in putting on an event. We couldn’t do it without you!

RESEARCH & LEARN
Peerless Rockville has been collecting information relevant to the development of Rockville as a community and as the seat of Montgomery County, Maryland since 1974. These resources are available to the public for general and academic research, and other educational purposes.
The archives consist of unpublished manuscripts, maps, family and business papers, and oral histories. Our extensive photograph collection contains images from both professional photographers and family snapshots. In addition there are vertical files containing information on properties as well as clippings from many sources.
Our Library contains City Directories and a selection of volumes on history and preservation.
