On Saturday, September 29 from 10 am to 1 pm, Peerless Rockville will host an open house for the public to explore Montrose School, a historic two-room schoolhouse built in 1909. Restored by Peerless Rockville, Montrose School was last open to the public in 2009. This open house will give visitors an opportunity to explore and learn more about the history of this school as well as the history of public schools in Montgomery County. Located at 5721 Montrose Parkway, visitors can reach the school by entering Montrose Crossing Shopping Center and following the directional signs to the school. The event is free.
