Once again, Peerless is partnering with the Montgomery County Historical Society and the City of Rockville’s Historic District Commission to bring you an afternoon of historical programs and fun.

Walking tours!

Join Peerless Rockville for walking tours of Rockville’s past and present.  At 12:30 PM, learn about local Civic Architecture from the Red Brick Courthouse to the Art Deco Bank to 1970s Brutalism.  At 2:15 PM,  take a West End Stroll and hear about Victorian homes and summer hotels including Chestnut Lodge, and view a related exhibit.

Yard Sale

Check out museum gift shop bargains, including prints, posters, note cards, and books.  A shopper's delight!

And more!

Be sure not to miss an exhibit on that special category of books that dispense advice on everything from etiquette to household management.  Then get tips from Dr. Stonestreet on curing 19th  century summer ailments and from his wife on keeping cool on hot days.  Other features include lessons for the whole family on deportment and getting along in polite society.
